VISION

To reduce individual, family and organisational stress by growing individual's financial confidence and competence.

VALUES

Money is only the start

While innergi's focus is to provide resources and tools to help people develop their knowledge of personal finance, we are committed to making a far greater difference than developing knowledge alone. We want to help our users experience a genuine reduction in financial stress, a reduction in financially related conflict, and increased personal competence and confidence when dealing with financial matters.

Keeping it real

Money is such a fundamental part of life - how do we eat or go places without it? Understanding money, and how to use it to your benefit is valuable knowledge, however, it is often taught about in a boring and disengaging way. Sure, finding a sexy way to teach you about income tax may be a challenge, nonetheless, we are committed to finding fun and engaging ways to teach you about money, while keeping it real.

Fair go

Having a "fair go" and giving people a "fair go" is important to us. We are committed to being fair to our subscribers, fair to our clients, fair to our partners, and fair to our people. When we look at developing our products, services or business practices, we ask, "is this fair to all involved?"

To balance creativity and stability

While we love innovation and creativity, we also believe that there is an appropriate speed to execute change. To use an analogy, we make every effort to hold onto the baby when throwing out the bath water, especially when we are really excited by a new idea.

To be response-able

innergi is focused on responding to the requests of our clients, members and the broader community. We welcome your ideas, feedback and suggestions. In fact, the bulk of innergi's product and service developments are a result of you, or someone just like you, asking for them.

The world is not a gift from our parents, but a loan from our children

We take the time to think about what we are going to leave behind for our children. When we think about this, we like the idea that innergi can contribute to fewer couples being in conflict around money, more people satisfied with their pay, and fewer people chasing money for money sakes. We like the idea that more people are engaged with their work, more people understand financial management, and more people take responsibility of their personal cashflow, risk management, investment and so on. In turn the broader society benefits from this growth in individual responsibility, leaving the world in better shape then when we entered it. Time will tell!

PEOPLE

innergi was born out of a passion to help people, and a frustration of the lack of quality and independent resources currently available.

innergi's co-founders, Matt Linnert and Robert Skinner, are two similar yet very different people.

In common, they were both frustrated with the limited amount of independent financial education and information available to those who were keen to further their knowledge on financial matters. And they were frustrated with the lack of clear information on how an individual could relate and influence their wealth creation.

The idea of innergi was born in December 2005 and since then there has been a lot of thought and energy gone into creating a solution that genuinely engages and educates our members around money.

We are committed to increasing the peace of mind and confidence of individuals, families and organisations. Professional and quality financial education is a powerful way to achieve this.

innergi is a provider of quality and innovative online financial education with an aim to influencing a generation's knowledge and experience of wealth creation and preservation.
